The forward only managed one goal in 15 appearances for the Merseyside outfit before being loaned out to Sevilla and eventually joining the La Liga outfit permanently in 2015.

Aspas went on to join Celta Vigo and the 29-year-old has had a barnstorming start to the season, being named La Liga Player of the Month for October.
