A Letter To Mr Death

Old Mr Death,
I have a complaint against your nefarious deeds.
Yes, I know you are inevitable
But I hate the fact that you are inconsiderate
You are a foe of all races,
Putting fear in the face of humanity.

How dare you?
You took our loved ones and left us in pain
You turned a sweet home sour
You set our lives in jeopardy.
How could you ruthlessly pull the child's life like a tooth?
Their happiness you mercilessly devour, this I yearn the sooth.

Your cruelty knows no measure
Don't you have a heart or it is made of stone?
You leave every house you visit in mourning
You wickedly snatch the only child of a widow
Leaving the walls and sands wailing
Her being and joy leaped out the window.

You gladly feed on the good, leaving the wicked to rot
You took the young lad with dreams, how unthoughtful of you
He was on the track to achieving greatness
Until you came and snatched him away
Here I wonder what his offense was.

You are like the air in all nations
Agonizingly felt in the nook and cranny
I wonder why you chose to be an enemy of all creation
You should be ashamed of yourself
The world has a problem with you
How come you portray no empathy?

I dare you to illuminate your brutality
And why you take diseases as your ally
You made sicknesses your friend
And Plump Mrs Sorrow your partner.
Tell me why you are hell bent on humans fatality
And why you take Change as your alibi.

DEATH,
I have lay my accusations before you
I await your elaborate riposte
For this you want to pour out your venom
But I am waiting in defense of your actions.
